As soon as all the permit documents are prepared, Biolyft notify the sender about the estimated date of collection of the biological material and the recipient about the date and time of delivery.
Please note that the actual delivery time may sometimes differ from the estimated time. However, Biolyft always informs about any changes if they occur.

Depending on the volume of biological material and the duration of transportation, we use 2 types of containers: MVE SC 4/2v with a volume of 3.5 l. Such a container can hold up to 110 straws with oocytes or embryos and approximately 75-80 vials of sperm. Such a container is capable of maintaining a temperature of -193 degrees Celsius for 10 days from the moment of full charge with liquid nitrogen MVE SC2/1v with a volume of 1.5 l. Such a container can hold 21 straws with embryos or oocytes and 9 vials of sperm. This container maintains a temperature of -193 degrees Celsius for 6 days.

All containers undergo strict validation of the necessary parameters specified by the manufacturer. Before each transportation, we check whether the container is charged correctly and what is the percentage of liquid nitrogen evaporation per day. In addition, we check whether there is no external damage in the container and the temperature registration sensor.
When all parameters of the corresponding container are normal, the container can be used for transportation. It should be noted that during road transportation, we also use a protective cargo box that allows you to fix the container in the required vertical position and protect the container from external shocks and vibrations.

Transportation is always carried out under the supervision of a medical courier. The container is always nearby, in a vertical position, so that the courier can control the temperature, as well as the container from unauthorized opening. The courier also monitors that the container is not exposed to X-ray radiation during the aviation security check at the departure and arrival airports.
